Why volunteer?  The following is a list of reasons why people volunteer:  use skills and experience, social contacts, school credit, excitement, recognition, learn about community, self-improvement, opportunity to be creative, identify with a cause, cure loneliness and boredom, have fun, feel needed and important, enjoy a challenge.  Need I say more?  How about becoming an ILICIL volunteer?
